As a life long lover of fish & chips I can wholeheartedly say this is a good un!! We were staying locally and popped in at 7 pm on a Friday night. The little gem of a chippy delivered wonderful, delicious, extra crispy fish and chips cooked to perfection. Swift and friendly service and very reasonably priced for generous portion size. If you’re passing do call in but take care to note limited opening times! Apologies for hastily taken pic.

I've been driving past this chippy for years and finally tried it. Superb. Top notch fish and chips,the batter is lovely. The curry sauce is smashing and they do scraps as well (not known in Manchester where I live now). I also like that they do spam fritters and fish scallops,I will try them next time I'm in.

Best fish and chips in the area in my opinion. Everything is always cooked perfectly, the fish is never overcooked like I've found in a lot of other places. Friendly and hardworking staff

Just moved to the village and had fish and chips our first night. OMG the batter is so light and crispy. It just melts in the mouth. Not a huge selection to choose from, i.e. no kebabs etc, but fish cooked fresh when you order. Lovely fella who serves. And you can get scratchings, not seen them since I was a kid!!
